Playback with Adobe Flash Player is possible if a compatible version is installed.

Apple HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) playback is attempted when supported by the browser.

Android users Detecting HLS support is only possible in Android Browser and Chrome, though not always reliable. If HLS support is detected, you will be prompted to view with the Android native video player application.

You may also copy the URL and play back the stream with VLC, QuickTime player, or other software compatible with HLS.

MPEG DASH playback is possible if using a compatible browser:

Chrome desktop

version 30 or later for Linux, MacOS or Windows

Chrome mobile

version 30 or later for Android
Playback may stall before starting. Refresh the page and try again, after waiting for the time counter to show up on the video controls.

MPEG DASH playback has not been enabled.

Requires recent version of XBMC with support for XBMC JSON-RPC API version 6 and activation of the HTTP interface.

Enter the address, e.g. localhost if running on the same computer, and the port number for the HTTP interface, e.g. 8080, in order to send a playback command directly to XBMC.

Alternatively you can download an strm file to the media collection and select it in XBMC to commence playback.
